Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Harwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Seaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harwood comes into the arena with Break Ya Neck blaring out of the sound system. Seaver has chosen Overkill - The Goal Is Your Soal as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harwood shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Seaver's guard.
Harwood stops Seaver from standing up.
Harwood stands and throws Seaver's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Harwood working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Harwood tries for a kimura but Seaver is defending well.
Seaver wants to get back to his feet but Harwood drags him back down.
Seaver is not content to let Harwood control the position.
Seaver wants to get back to his feet but Harwood drags him back down.
Harwood wants to control but Seaver is keeping him busy.
Seaver is pushing Harwood's head away, looking to escape. Harwood manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Harwood has an Americana. Seaver didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Harwood is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Harwood hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Tyler Harwood!
