Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garik Kruiliansky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernard Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bernard Marciano!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano shoots in and drives through. Kruiliansky sprawls well.

It looks like Bernard Marciano has been cut.
Kruiliansky misses with a few strikes there.
Marciano shoots in but Kruiliansky avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Marciano drives through with a takedown into guard.
Marciano stops Kruiliansky from standing up.
Marciano slips nicely into half guard.
Marciano seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
I looks like Marciano might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Kruiliansky on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kruiliansky tries to get out of the position.
Marciano wants to control but Kruiliansky is keeping him busy.

Marciano uses his free foot to push down on Kruiliansky's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kruiliansky.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Marciano counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kruiliansky won't be happy with that.

Marciano is looking to take a break and control but Kruiliansky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Marciano tries to advance to mount but Kruiliansky denies him.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Let's hope that Marciano has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Kruiliansky throws a looping overhand right but Marciano ducks down to avoid it.
Marciano blocks a jab.

Kruiliansky takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Marciano buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The fighters circling - Kruiliansky throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Kruiliansky missing with a left hand there. Marciano was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Marciano closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Marciano lands in his opponent's guard.

Marciano is standing up over Kruiliansky. Kruiliansky looks to escape but Marciano dives into side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Marciano fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kruiliansky sprawls well initially but Marciano persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Marciano's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Kruiliansky looks like he's trying to stand up.
Well, if Marciano is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Bernard Marciano comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Marciano has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
