The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoiles throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hoiles scores with a one two! kevler had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
kevler fails with the takedown.
Hoiles scores with a decent looking hook.
Hoiles misses with a series of wild punches.
kevler shoots in looking for a takedown. Hoiles tries to sprawl out of it but kevler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hoiles manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hoiles looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
kevler avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hoiles scores with a decent looking hook.
lamont kevler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
kevler tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Hoiles drops kevler with a beautiful combination! kevler stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hoiles is looking for the KO!

Hoiles rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but kevler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hoiles lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Oh kevler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hoiles throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
kevler seems to have got his legs back now.
Hoiles throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends kevler stumbling backwards into the cage! kevler bounces back off the cage towards Hoiles, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Hoiles lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Hoiles celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mike Hoiles!
