Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rorny Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Bittersweet Symphony as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricardo Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rorny Gracie!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Gracie has a takedown stuffed.
Gracie shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Silva swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ricardo Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rorny Gracie.
Gracie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Silva swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.
Gracie fails to land the takedown.
Gracie dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.
Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva.
Silva pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Silva misses with the combination.

Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silva circles away.
Silva throws a looping overhand right but Gracie ducks down to avoid it.
Ricardo Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gracie doesn't seem bothered though.

Silva clobbers Gracie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie.
Silva stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silva wants it to stay on the feet.

Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Gracie takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Gracie shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gracie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Silva lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Silva throws a shot to the body.
Silva scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva lands a really nice looking cross but Gracie seems unphased.
Silva wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ricardo Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silva lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Gracie is rocked!
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
Silva scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gracie doesn't seem bothered though.
Gracie slips under a jab from Silva.
Silva looks to land a right hand but Gracie moved out of range.
Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Silva.
A telegraphed right hand from Silva misses the target.
Silva looks to throw the jab but Gracie is out of range.
Gracie seems to have recovered his senses.
Silva connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Silva lands with a big left! Gracie is wobbled badly! Silva comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Gracie to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
