Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trainer Wrestle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kane Otunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Otunga is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eminem - Go To Sleep. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Trainer Wrestle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kane Otunga! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wrestle drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Otunga is trying to get back to half guard. Wrestle wants to control but Otunga is keeping him busy. Wrestle is putting a hurting on Otunga here, landing some big shots from side control. Wrestle controls the position from side control. Wrestle lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Otunga tries to buck Wrestle off but Wrestle is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wrestle in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Wrestle tries to score with some ground and pound. Otunga controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Otunga tries to bench press Wrestle off him but Wrestle keeps the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Otunga is not content to let Wrestle control the position. Wrestle tries to advance position but instead Otunga slips a leg back in to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Otunga is not content to let Wrestle control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wrestle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Otunga sprawls well initially but Wrestle persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wrestle is keen to just control but Otunga is a slippery customer. Wrestle thows a huge punch but Otunga dodges it nicely.
Wrestle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Otunga keeps working. Wrestle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Otunga is controlling Wrestle's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Otunga has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wrestle is working away from the top position though. Otunga controlling the position well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wrestle lands with a punch from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Otunga has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wrestle is working away from the top position though. Wrestle moves into full mount! Otunga won't be happy about that! Wrestle throwing strikes here but Otunga is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Wrestle controlling the position easily from mount. Wrestle landing strikes, looking to finish! Wrestle breaks from Otunga's wrist control and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wrestle shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Wrestle is looking to advance position but Otunga won't allow it. Wrestle sitting and controlling from the half guard. Otunga is looking to control Wrestle's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Otunga avoid being mounted? Wrestle throwing shots but Otunga is blocking nicely.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Wrestle. Otunga has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wrestle avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Otunga has hold of one of Wrestle's legs. Wrestle is fighting the takedown attempt but Otunga gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Wrestle working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Otunga. Wrestle keeping moving, preventing Otunga from controlling successfully. Otunga is looking to advance position but Wrestle has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Wrestle working Otunga over with strikes here. Otunga taking shots to the head. A nice elbow there by Wrestle. Wrestle with the ground and pound from mount. Wrestle putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Wrestle there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Wrestle avoids the attempt from Otunga to control. Wrestle lands with some strikes. Otunga wants to hold on but Wrestle pushes him away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Otunga can do anything to dispel that myth. Wrestle can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Otunga is looking to escape. Wrestle controlling his opponent. Otunga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wrestle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Otunga takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Otunga really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Trainer Wrestle dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Wrestle looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Otunga! Wrestle controlling from the full mount. Wrestle has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Otunga's face.
Otunga is trying desperately to improve position. Otunga is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Wrestle unloading with bombs!

Wrestle misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

And that's the end of the fight! Trainer Wrestle showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wrestle has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
