The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rider throws a nice looking combination but Markus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Markus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rider is fending him off so far but Markus persists. Nope, Rider circles away and we're back to standing.

Markus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rider gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rider shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Markus as he jumps to the side.
Rider fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Markus sprawls well initially but Rider persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

I would just about give that final round to Mark Markus.
