Montana Jr comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tony's Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kennu Kekkonen!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antonio Montana Jr!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montana Jr lands a jab-cross combination.


It looks like Kennu Kekkonen has been cut.
Montana Jr stuns Kekkonen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kennu Kekkonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Montana Jr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Montana Jr throws a head kick but Kekkonen moves out of range.
Montana Jr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Montana Jr moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kekkonen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Montana Jr scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kekkonen is breathing heavily.
Montana Jr tries a head kick but it misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Montana Jr.

Kekkonen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Montana Jr throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Kekkonen won't allow Montana Jr to sweep him here.

Montana Jr has a closed guard, preventing Kekkonen from standing up.
Kekkonen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Montana Jr is looking for a triangle but Kekkonen pushes his legs off easily.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kekkonen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Montana Jr scores with a push kick.
Kekkonen takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kekkonen sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Kekkonen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Montana Jr.


Kekkonen is rocked!

This has been an exciting period of action!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Montana Jr knocks Kekkonen out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
