Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Lilja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rebaldo Louza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Rebaldo Louza enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andreas Lilja! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rebaldo Louza! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lilja throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Louza's waist but Louza gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lilja off to one side. Louza instigates a clinch. Lilja manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Lilja keeping moving, preventing Louza from controlling successfully. Lilja working a defensive guard here.
Louza wants to pass the guard but Lilja is keeping the position. Louza trying to control but Lilja is working from the bottom. Louza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lilja swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lilja keeping moving, preventing Louza from controlling successfully. Lilja not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lilja shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Louza pinned against the cage. Louza gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Lilja shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Louza as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andreas Lilja. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lilja misses with a head kick.
Lilja pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Louza feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Lilja looking for a sweep. Not yet Lilja, not yet. Louza tries to free his leg and advance position but Lilja is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Louza trying to control the position from guard on top but Lilja is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Louza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lilja swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lilja is trying to control the position from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Louza changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lilja looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Louza has hold of Lilja's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lilja tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Louza cranks the arm and Lilja screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lilja, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Rebaldo Louza!
