The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devereau throws a right hand that Duggary ducks under and follows up with a left that Duggary also avoids with ease.
Duggary throws a hook but Devereau blocks it.
Devereau fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Duggary.

Duggary moves into range and clinches up with Devereau.
Devereau pushes off an throws an elbow but Duggary leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Duggary works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Duggary has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Devereau uses from the top position.
