Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kam Korder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ludvig Nyqvist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kam Korder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludvig Nyqvist!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nyqvist is trying hard to land a takedown here. Korder sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nyqvist shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Korder but Korder pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Korder has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nyqvist is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Korder is defending well for now.

Korder tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Nyqvist is stalling here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Korder is standing up over Nyqvist. Nyqvist looks to escape but Korder dives into side control.
Nyqvist is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Korder asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The referee asks Korder politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Korder prefers to stall for the moment though.

Nyqvist is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Korder has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Korder shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nyqvist napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Korder misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Korder wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nyqvist, who protects the arm well.
Nyqvist tries to bench press Korder off him but Korder keeps the position.

Korder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nyqvist on the ground.

Nyqvist is looking to regain half guard here but Korder keeps moving and retains side control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Korder lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Ludvig Nyqvist has been cut.

Nyqvist parries the strikes from Korder easily there. Korder is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Nyqvist to escape.

Korder has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

and Korder counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Korder pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nyqvist sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

and Nyqvist counters with a shoot takedown. Korder fights it but they end up in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nyqvist accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nyqvist wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Korder has him pressed against the cage.
Korder's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ludvig Nyqvist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Korder gets in close and instigates a clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Korder is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Nyqvist looking to sit in guard and control but Korder gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Korder is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well Korder has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
