Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Hasun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jere Ruutikainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Abdul Hasun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jere Ruutikainen! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruutikainen throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Ruutikainen throws a looping overhand right but Hasun ducks down to avoid it. Ruutikainen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hasun trying to control the position.
Ruutikainen wants to pass the guard but Hasun is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hasun manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's one minute gone in the round. Ruutikainen wants to control but Hasun is having none of it. Ruutikainen is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Hasun is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ruutikainen has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ruutikainen wants to hold on but Hasun pushes him away. Hasun wants to control the pace but Ruutikainen is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ruutikainen is looking to get to half guard. Ruutikainen wants to hold on but Hasun pushes him away. Hasun will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ruutikainen is squirming around, avoiding Hasun's attempts to control the action. Ruutikainen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hasun can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ruutikainen is looking to escape. Ruutikainen regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruutikainen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Hasun trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hasun throwing strikes but missing. Hasun stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ruutikainen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ruutikainen looking for a sweep. Not yet Ruutikainen, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hasun pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ruutikainen is keeping the position for now. Hasun is fighting to break Ruutikainen's control of his arms but Ruutikainen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ruutikainen wants to sweep here but Hasun controlling him for the moment.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hasun looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Hasun is breathing heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hasun gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hasun gets caught flat footed, as Ruutikainen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jere Ruutikainen dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ruutikainen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Ruutikainen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Hasun closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Ruutikainen punishes Hasun's body with a nice straight punch. Hasun shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Ruutikainen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Ruutikainen tries to bum rush Hasun with a series of wild strikes but Hasun uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ruutikainen lands a nice looking body shot.
Hasun really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ruutikainen scores with a hook. Ruutikainen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hasun takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A chopping leg kick lands by Ruutikainen. Abdul Hasun is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ruutikainen with a nice cross. Ruutikainen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Ruutikainen controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Let's hope that Ruutikainen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ruutikainen lands a couple of digs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruutikainen works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hasun is in trouble now - Ruutikainen has advanced to mount! Ruutikainen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Ruutikainen punishing his opponent with strikes. Hasun takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Ruutikainen scoring with strikes but Hasun is staying in there. Ruutikainen lands with some strikes. Ruutikainen unloading with bombs! Ruutikainen lands with some strikes.
Hasun is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ruutikainen scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Oh Hasun is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ruutikainen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ruutikainen postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Hasun badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Ruutikainen around the waist but Ruutikainen pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Ruutikainen is the winner by TKO! Ruutikainen jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
