Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Wulf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ben Saunders!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wulf displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Saunders.
Saunders swats away the attempt to clinch by Wulf.
Nice sprawl there from Wulf as Saunders shoots in.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Saunders is defended easily by Wulf.

Saunders throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wulf was covering up waiting for the punch and Saunders finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Saunders thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Wulf knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Saunders on the ground.

Saunders is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wulf is just riding it out for now. Saunders eventually gives up the hold.

Saunders stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wulf swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Wulf will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
