Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Ringo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Crawford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ringo comes to the cage accompanied by Rude Boy. The crowd seem to be enjoying Crawford's choice of entrance music: Henry Rollins Band "Your number is one". This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Ringo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ken Crawford! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crawford fails in his attempt to clinch. Crawford tries to clinch there but Ringo circles away.
Ringo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Ringo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Ringo throws a leg kick but Crawford sees it coming and checks it nicely. Ringo has Crawford up against the cage in a clinch.
Ringo prevents the takedown attempt.
Ringo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Crawford forces Ringo back against the cage and clinches. Ringo working Crawford over with knees to the body. Ringo breaks the clinch.
Ringo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Crawford backs up against the cage.
Ringo throws a leg kick which misses Crawford's front leg but catches the back leg as Crawford tries to avoid it. Ringo cracks the inside of Crawford's front leg. Ringo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Crawford paws at him with a jab and circles away. A left and a right from Ringo both land. Nice combination. Ringo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Ringo scores with a leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ringo throws a right hand that Crawford ducks under and follows up with a left that Crawford also avoids with ease.

Ringo tries to bum rush Crawford with a series of wild strikes but Crawford uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Crawford wants to clinch but Ringo slips to the side and Ringo counters with a good low kick that Crawford was not able to check. Ringo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Crawford has Ringo pressed against the cage, preventing Ringo from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Ringo breaks from the clinch.
Ringo looks to land a combination but Crawford avoids it well. Crawford stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ringo. Ringo moves into range and clinches up with Crawford. Ringo gets control of Crawford's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ringo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Ringo is looking to stand up but Crawford isn't so interested in that idea. Ringo wants to control the position but Crawford says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crawford wants to take a breather but Ringo is having none of it. Ringo is trying to control but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Crawford thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ringo to regain full guard. Crawford wants to control from the top but Ringo keeps moving. Ringo has his hands on Crawford's head, controlling the position. Crawford won't allow Ringo to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ringo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Crawford rushes Ringo and presses him up against the cage. Crawford tries for a takedown but Ringo manages to get underhooks.
Ringo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Ringo working hard to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Crawford has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ringo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Crawford looks gassed! You can see the frustration on Ringo's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Ringo wants to get back to his feet. Ringo manages to reverse the position and now he's in Crawford's guard. Nice work there by Ringo.
Crawford pushes Ringo off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Crawford misses with a body shot.
Johnny Ringo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A nice leg kick lands there from Ringo. Ringo has closed the distance and engaged Crawford in a clinch.

Crawford takes a kick to the side of the head. Crawford darts in and clinches Ringo up against the cage. Ringo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Crawford tries to clinch and Ringo counters with a left and a right that stings Crawford. Johnny Ringo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ringo lands with a nice combination. Crawford backs away looking to recover. Ringo's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Ringo duly obliges. Ringo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ringo misses with a low kick. Crawford showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ringo.
Ringo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crawford tries to avoid it but Ringo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crawford to the ground. Crawford escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ringo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Crawford is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ringo wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Crawford tries to land a sweep but no joy. Crawford is breathing heavily. Crawford bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ringo's guard. Crawford passes into half guard. Ringo looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ringo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ringo cracks Crawford with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Ringo tests Crawford's chin there with a solid looking shot. Ringo moves into range and connects with a jab. Ringo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Crawford. Ringo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Ringo scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Ringo lands a jab-cross combination. Ringo is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Crawford blocks a head kick by Ringo.
Ringo throws a nice outside leg kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Crawford is defended easily by Ringo. Ringo is working the combinations to good effect here. Ringo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Crawford swivels and escapes. Ringo misses with a jab, cross combination.

Crawford is looking to take a break and control but Ringo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ringo preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. That was a close second round but I would say that Johnny Ringo will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Ringo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Ringo scores with a one two! Crawford had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Ringo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Crawford takes the fight into the clinch. Ringo is trying to force a seperation but Crawford has the dominant position. Ringo looking to slow down the pace here. Crawford lands a damaging elbow. Ringo wants a takedown.

Crawford's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Ringo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Crawford tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ringo avoids it. Ringo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Crawford just stands there and leans against the cage. Crawford is struggling to control the position. Ringo takes a knee to the side of the body. Ringo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Crawford walks away with a smile on his face. Ringo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The fight stays on the outside here - Crawford looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ringo tries to clinch but Crawford is having none of it. Ringo closes the distance and lands a one-two. A nice inside leg kick there by Ringo. That's going to slow Crawford down. That's three minutes gone in the round. Ringo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Crawford defends it nicely. Ringo with a lazy takedown attempt letting Crawford counter with a right hand. Crawford looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ringo throws a nice outside leg kick. Ringo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Some wild striking there from Ringo.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ringo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Johnny Ringo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ringo misses with the combination.
Ringo is looking to clinch. Johnny Ringo is winning the standup battle so far. Crawford tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ringo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ringo throws a series of strikes that have Crawford backpedaling.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ringo tries a head kick but it misses.

And that's the end of the fight! Johnny Ringo showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ringo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
