The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bundy punishes Penn's body with a nice straight punch.
Penn fails with the takedown.
Bundy looks to land a right hand but Penn moved out of range.

Bundy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Penn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bud Bundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Penn throws a lazy right hand but Bundy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bundy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Penn.
Penn avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bundy throws a hook to the side of Penn's head but Penn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Penn shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bundy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Penn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bundy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Penn has managed to get both his arms back between Bundy's legs - danger averted.

Bundy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Penn defends it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that BJ Penn will probably get the nod.

Penn works over Bundy with some ground and pound from guard.

Bundy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Bundy looking for a triangle here. Penn is fighting it but it looks tight! Bundy pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Penn is tapping out - this one is all over!
