Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bud Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn comes to the cage accompanied by E ala E. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, BJ Penn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bud Bundy! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bundy punishes Penn's body with a nice straight punch. Penn fails with the takedown. Bundy looks to land a right hand but Penn moved out of range. Bundy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Penn. Bundy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Penn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Bud Bundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Penn dodges the punch combination from Bundy.

Penn throws a lazy right hand but Bundy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Horrible takedown by Penn or perhaps it was just good defense by Bundy which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BJ Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Penn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Penn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bundy is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bundy sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Penn sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bundy defending well though. Bundy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Penn pulls his head out easily. Penn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bundy wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bundy on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Bundy is looking to improve his position.
Penn is keen to just control but Bundy is a slippery customer. Penn prevents Bundy from improving his position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Penn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bundy misses the shot to the body. Penn moves away from the strike by Bundy. Bundy misses with a body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Penn. Bundy throws a looping overhand right but Penn ducks down to avoid it. Bundy takes a swing at Penn's ribcage but misses. Nice body punch from Penn. Penn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bundy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bundy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Penn. Penn avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bundy throws a hook to the side of Penn's head but Penn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Penn shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bundy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Penn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Penn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bundy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Penn has managed to get both his arms back between Bundy's legs - danger averted. Bundy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Penn defends it easily. Penn postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that BJ Penn will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Penn counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bundy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Penn moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bundy misses the shot to the body. The fighters circle momentarily. Penn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Bundy swinging wildly here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn fails miserably with a takedown attempt. BJ Penn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Penn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bundy as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BJ Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Penn is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bundy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bundy stuffs the takedown. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bundy scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bundy but Bundy pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bud Bundy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bundy looks to throw the jab but Penn is out of range. Bundy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bundy throws a right and a left that both miss. Bundy swings for the body but Penn moves out of range.
Penn takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Penn shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Penn is looking to stall here but Bundy recovers full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bundy controls Penn momentarily but Penn frees himself. Penn works over Bundy with some ground and pound from guard. Bundy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bundy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bundy looking for a triangle here. Penn is fighting it but it looks tight! Bundy pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Penn is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Bud Bundy!
