Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyd closes this distance looking for a takedown but Corrales circles away.
Boyd shoots in for a double leg but Corrales sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Boyd takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Corrales looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Boyd misses with a series of wild punches.
Boyd rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Corrales counters with a two punch combo.
Corrales throws a left and a right that both miss
and Boyd counters with a nice double leg into side control. Corrales won't be happy with that.
Corrales is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boyd decides to stand back up. Boyd steps back and let's Corrales get back to his feet.
Rice Boyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corrales lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Corrales throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Boyd on the side of the head.
Corrales misses with a few strikes there.
Boyd throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Corrales counters with a left and a right... And another left! Boyd is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
