The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tap swats away the attempt to clinch by Shadows.
Shadows slips under a jab from Tap.
Tap clinches up with Shadows and pushes him back against the cage.
Shadows swings wildly with an uppercut but Tap uses good head movement to avoid it.
Shadows pulls guard effortlessly.
Tap preventing the sweep.
Shadows is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Shadows working for a triangle but Tap defends it easily.
Shadows is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tap defends well.
Tap avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shadows looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Tap forces his way into half guard.

Tap slips a nice elbow through Shadows's hands, connecting with Shadows's forehead.

Tap maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Shadows could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Tap has cracked it and Shadows is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Tap!
