Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ukko Petkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petkele comes to the cage accompanied by M.A. Numminen - Perkele. Harrison comes into a darkened arena with his song building. God's Gonna Cut You Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ukko Petkele! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Harrison! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Petkele is defended easily by Harrison. Petkele scores with a hook to the body. Harrison takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Harrison stuffs the takedown. Petkele throws a leg kick that misses. Harrison fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Petkele throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Petkele gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Harrison avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Harrison drops back looking for a leg! Petkele is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Petkele manages to kick Harrison off! Harrison jumps back into Petkele's guard. Harrison stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Petkele swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petkele had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Harrison defends it easily. Harrison wants to control from the top but Petkele keeps moving. Petkele tries to land a sweep but no joy. Harrison postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Petkele escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Harrison gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Harrison trying to control the position from guard on top but Petkele is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Petkele has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Harrison is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Petkele. Harrison has hold of Petkele's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Petkele seems comfortable defending it but Harrison has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Petkele is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Petkele is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Harrison couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). William Harrison! William Harrison is the new middleweight champion!
