Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Junior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Filipe Martins!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Junior, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
David Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Junior lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Filipe Martins has been cut.
Junior swings for the body but Martins moves out of range.
Junior lands with a nice combination. Martins backs away looking to recover.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Martins is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Junior's half guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Junior rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Martins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Martins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Junior is trying to defend but Martins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
