Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Palacios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy McMannus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timmy McMannus! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palacios throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Palacios works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. McMannus shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. McMannus wants to control but Palacios is keeping him busy. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Palacios is trying to stand up here but McMannus is controlling him well. McMannus is trying to work for a kimura but Palacios is defending well.
Palacios blocking the ground and pound attempt from McMannus. Palacios tries to kick McMannus off but McMannus keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. McMannus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. McMannus seems to be working for a kimura but Palacios defends the submission attempt. Palacios is defending against the submission attempts here by McMannus.
That's one minute gone in the round. McMannus is looking for a kimura but Palacios is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McMannus to get the leverage. McMannus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Palacios swivels though and keeps the full guard. That's three minutes gone in the round. Palacios is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and McMannus dives into side control.
McMannus tries for a kimura but Palacios is defending well. McMannus is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Palacios will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. McMannus working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. McMannus has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McMannus wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. McMannus thowing shots but they're missing. Palacios wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by McMannus.
McMannus landing strikes from the mount. McMannus moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Palacios has worked his arm free - good work by Palacios!
McMannus in side control, throwing shots but Palacios defends. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Timmy McMannus dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
McMannus gets the takedown into side control. McMannus throwing strikes but Palacios manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Palacios wants to stand but McMannus has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard. Palacios has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. McMannus is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Palacios frees his head nicely. Oh but McMannus has switched to an armbar! Palacios is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
