Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia tries a head kick but it misses.
Thiago Maia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bassi scores with a nice right hand.
Bassi slaps away a takedown attempt from Maia, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bassi throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Thiago Maia has been cut.
Maia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bassi tries to avoid it but Maia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bassi to the ground. Bassi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Maia is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bassi's half guard.
