Penn tries to close the distance and clinch but Wood swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Penn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Penn shoots for a double leg takedown but Wood sprawls well. He's pushed Penn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
