Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Silver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wanderlei Rua! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silver jabbing away but nothing is landing. Rua looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Silver lands a left and a right that send Rua crashing to the mat, dazed. Silver thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Wanderlei Rua has been cut. Silver rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rua moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rua is still on wobbly legs! Can Silver finish him? No luck for Rua with that takedown attempt. Rua shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silver but Silver pushes him off and we're back to square one. A combination from Silver does no damage. Silver rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rua moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rua shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Silver is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Silver pushes Rua off looking to stand but Rua dives back in and keeps control.
