The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daley loads up on a big right hand but Pierce slips the punch.
Pierce looks to land a combination but Daley avoids it well.
Daley throws a combination. Pierce tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Ray Pierce has been cut.
Daley looks to land a right hand but Pierce moved out of range.
Pierce slips a straight right by Daley.
Daley throws a big shot that misses.
Some wild striking there from Daley.
Pierce moves forwards but Daley connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Daley takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Daley misses with a double jab.

Pierce looks to throw the jab but Daley is out of range.

Daley throws a series of punches but Pierce moves out of range.
Daley slips a straight right by Pierce.
Daley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pierce circles away quickly and effectively.
Daley throws a lazy right hand but Pierce sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Daley moves out of range as Pierce strikes.
The crowd cheers as Pierce lands an impressive looking overhand right. Daley doesn't seem phased though.
Daley throws a right and a left that Pierce avoids nicely.
Ray Pierce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Daley swinging wildly here.
Daley works the jab nicely.
Daley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pierce's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Daley connects with a single shot there.
A combination from Daley does no damage.
Daley lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Daley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pierce stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Daley looks to score with a jab to the body but Pierce is just out of range.
Pierce scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Daley throws a one two combo.
Daley dips to his left and cracks Pierce with an uppercut!
That has opened up Ray Pierce's cut even more.
Daley cracks Pierce with a right hand to the side of the head.
Pierce is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Daley throws out a loose jab but Pierce uses good head movement to avoid it.
Daley thows a body shot but no joy.
Some wild striking there from Pierce.
Pierce jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Good standup being displayed there by Daley as he connects with a hook.

Daley moves out of range of the strikes.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Pierce lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Daley cracks Pierce with a right hand to the side of the head.
Daley moves into range and connects with a jab.
Pierce lands a jab.
Daley getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
The cut above Ray Pierce's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Daley throws a combination. Pierce tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Pierce looks gassed!
Pierce looks to land a left hand but Daley moved out of range nicely.
No joy there for Daley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice shot by Daley.
Daley connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Pierce tumbling to the canvas! Daley pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Pierce was done - good stoppage!
