Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, evander holyshit!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
holyshit looks to throw the jab but velazquez is out of range.
velazquez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. holyshit was covering up waiting for the punch and velazquez finishes the takedown easily into guard.
holyshit looking for a sweep. Not yet holyshit, not yet.
velazquez is in close to holyshit's body, working some short punches and elbows.
velazquez could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

evander holyshit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

holyshit fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks velazquez square on the jaw! Damn, velazquez is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
