Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and rajiko slamer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ford kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "Get Off On The Pain" by Gary Allan. rajiko slamer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. slamer tries to avoid it but Ford manages to keep hold of a leg and drag slamer to the ground. slamer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ford throws a shot from downtown. slamer moves away and avoids it.
Ford shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with slamer but slamer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
slamer avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, slamer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

slamer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ford uses from the top position.
Ford stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. slamer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ford is fighting to break slamer's control of his arms but slamer is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ford has gone for a leg lock! slamer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ford's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

slamer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ford. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ford postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ford throws the left hand but slamer avoids the punch easily.

Ford is really struggling to find his range with his punches. slamer's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
