Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kekipi Kona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Dasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kona comes to the cage accompanied by "Same In The End" by Sublime. Kekipi Kona has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kona moves away from the strike by Dasher.
Kona changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dasher tries to avoid it but Kona manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dasher to the ground. Dasher escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kona missing with a left hand there. Dasher was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kona will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dasher keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kona. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Kona might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Kona looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Dasher lands a hook that stumbles Kona back into the cage. Dasher follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Kona to the canvas! Dasher pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Kona has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
