The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Lashley with that takedown attempt.
Lashley looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

turk moves into the clinch.
Lashley prevents turk from breaking the clinch.
Lashley fails to pull the fight into his guard.
turk lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lashley backwards.

johnny turk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Lashley.

turk breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
turk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lashley circles away quickly and effectively.
Lashley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but turk swivels and escapes.
turk connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
A right-left combo lands from turk.

It looks like Bobby Lashley has been cut.
turk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lashley circles away quickly and effectively.
turk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A combination from turk does no damage.
turk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lashley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
turk bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lashley's head.

Nice straight punches there by turk. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of turk.
turk connects with a crisp jab.
No joy there for turk, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Donk. turk catches Lashley right on the button with a cross.

Lashley is rocked!
johnny turk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
turk dances in with a quick combination. Lashley is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from turk snaps Lashley's head back. Lashley stumbles backwards against the cage. turk steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Lashley's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Lashley just didn't come prepared.
