Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lord Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vader kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ave Maria. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lord Vader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnny Knox!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A jab lands there for Vader.
Vader displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Knox throws out the jab.
Vader blocks a head kick by Knox.
Knox throws a push kick but Vader slaps the foot to one side.
A punch combination from Knox misses.
Knox misses with a head kick.
Vader throws a combination that misses
and Knox counters with a body kick.
Knox throws a left and a right that both miss
so Vader counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vader throws a big right hand that misses.
Vader looking to pass the guard.
Vader throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Knox works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Vader content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Knox kicks Vader off and gets to his feet.
Knox moves away from the strike by Vader.
Johnny Knox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vader throws a left and a right that both miss
and Vader takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Knox connects with a high kick.
It looks like Lord Vader has been cut.
Knox throws a sloppy head kick and Vader moves out of range easily.
Knox misses with a double jab
and Vader counters with a left to the body.
Knox looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A telegraphed right hand from Vader misses the target.
Vader lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Knox takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Knox misses with a double jab
and Vader counters with a straight right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Knox swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Vader counters with a stiff right hand.
Vader lands a body shot.
Vader connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Knox's hands.
Vader scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Knox doesn't seem bothered though.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Vader! Knox is backing up but he can't get away as Vader lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Knox and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Lord Vader!
