Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hillbilly Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jung Sung Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Crash by Fit for Rivals. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hillbilly Joe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jung Sung Kim! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim defending well as Joe loads up on a big left hand. Kim connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Joe just misses with a punch to the body.
Joe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Joe looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Joe scores with a hook to the body. Kim takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Kim has Joe up against the cage in a clinch.
Joe is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Joe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Joe throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kim. Joe scores with a shot to the body.
Joe looks to score with a jab to the body but Kim is just out of range. Joe misses with a few strikes there.
Joe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe lands a with a good body shot. Joe misses with a double jab.
Kim avoids the head kick by Joe.
Some bone on bone action there as Kim checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Joe misses with a wild combination.
Hillbilly Joe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kim connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Some wild striking there from Joe.
Joe throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Kim shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Joe trying to control but Kim postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim is figuring out what he wants to do next. Kim trying to pass the guard but Joe defending well. Kim is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kim seems to be looking for submissions.
Kim looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Joe wants to get back to full guard. Kim passes the guard and advances to mount! Poor strikes thrown by Kim there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Joe wants to hold on but Kim pushes him away. Joe is trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Joe is desperately trying to improve his position but Kim has a good base and remains in mount. Joe on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Joe tries to get out of the position. Kim content just to control the position here. Joe is working to get back to half guard.
Kim controlling the position easily from mount. Kim wants to finish this one by submission but Joe is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kim. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jung Sung Kim will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Joe lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kim at a distance.
Joe's corner calls for a 1-2. Joe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Joe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kim circles away quickly and effectively. Joe gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kim to score an easy takedown into full guard. Joe controls Kim momentarily but Kim frees himself. Kim loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kim is breathing heavily. Joe keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe is looking to stand up but Kim isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kim moves out of range as Joe strikes. Kim fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Joe sprawls well initially but Kim persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kim trying to pass the guard but Joe defending well. Joe is looking to escape. Kim is looking to take a break and control but Joe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Joe wants to get back to full guard. Joe trying to control from the bottom.
Kim is keen to just control but Joe is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joe is looking for a sweep. Kim is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Joe blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kim.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Joe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Joe is looking to wear down Kim with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Joe throws a series of punches but Kim moves out of range. Joe swings for the body but Kim moves out of range.
Joe lands with an uppercut that bounces Kim off the cage and back into rage. Kim closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Joe keeps working. Joe regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Joe controls Kim momentarily but Kim frees himself. Kim wants to control from the top but Joe keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Joe wants to stand but Kim is controlling the position. Kim controls from within his opponent's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kim postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jung Sung Kim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Joe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kim was well out of range. Poor timing from Joe. Kim checks the leg kick. Joe throws a lazy right hand but Kim sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Joe misses with an uppercut. Kim saw that one coming. A decent looking body kick lands there for Joe. Hillbilly Joe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Joe misses with a kick to the body.
Joe moves out of range of the body kick from Kim.
Joe jabbing away but nothing is landing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe swinging wildly here.
Hillbilly Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Joe tries a head kick but it misses.
Kim misses with a straight right. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe misses with a leg kick. A slow jab from Joe misses its intended target. Kim gets a clinch. Kim wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kim prevents Joe from breaking the clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Kim goes for a takedown in the clinch but Joe prevents it.
Kim tries to pull guard but Joe won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Joe breaks from the clinch.
Joe throws a head kick but Kim moves out of range.
Kim dodges the punch combination from Joe.
Joe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Joe tries to bum rush Kim with a series of wild strikes but Kim uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kim slips under a jab. Joe misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Joe misses its intended target. Joe misses with a series of wild punches.
Kim closes the distance and pushes Joe back into the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Kim is trying to drag Joe to the mat but Joe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Jung Sung Kim is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hillbilly Joe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jung Sung Kim. Kim tries to break the clinch but Joe is controlling the position. Joe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Joe is trying to break the clinch but Kim has him pressed against the cage. Kim is looking to break free of the clinch but Joe has double underhooks. Joe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A punch combination from Joe misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Joe swings for the body but Kim moves out of range.
Hillbilly Joe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kim showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Joe.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hillbilly Joe. I think Kim has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
