Petzel comes to the cage accompanied by FOREVER. Horner is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Deftones. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kurt Horner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Horner looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Horner wants to control but Petzel is keeping him busy.
Horner throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Petzel won't allow Horner to pass to mount.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Petzel moves into full guard.
Petzel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Horner is one step ahead there.
Petzel lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Horner!

Petzel is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Horner has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Horner!
Horner slips nicely into half guard.
Petzel tries to roll over but Horner keeps him under control.
Petzel has hold of Horner's hands but Horner slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Petzel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Horner moves into full mount! Petzel won't be happy about that!
Petzel can't escape the position.
Petzel bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Horner wants to improve his position but instead Petzel has moved into half guard.
Horner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Petzel tries to pass to full mount but Horner defends it.
Petzel is working hard here to advance position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Petzel is working for a kimura but Horner is defending it quite comfortably.
Petzel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Horner moves into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Petzel looking to pass the guard.

Horner looking for a guillotine here but Petzel defends easily.
Horner keeping full guard, as Petzel tries to pass.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Horner is on top in guard.
Petzel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Horner thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Petzel looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Petzel is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Horner is aware though and is defending well.
Petzel looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Horner puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Petzel is breathing heavily.

Petzel is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Horner pulls his head out easily.

Horner is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Ground and pound from Horner.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Horner is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Petzel is pressing down on Horner's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Petzel is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Horner rolls with it to try and escape but Petzel cranks on the arm and Horner is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
