The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

letting Soares counter with a right hand.

Brandao throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Soares's waist but Soares gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brandao off to one side.
Soares throws a right hand that Brandao ducks under and follows up with a left that Brandao also avoids with ease.
Brandao looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Soares counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Brandao is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Jeez, Michel Soares's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
