Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Tamburello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sky Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bishop is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Stonez of Christ. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Tamburello! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sky Bishop! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tamburello uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Bishop lands with a shot to the body. Tamburello keeps the fight on the outside. A big right from Tamburello misses. A big right from Tamburello misses. Bishop avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bishop jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bishop cracks Tamburello with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Bishop misses with the combination.
Bishop throws a hook but Tamburello blocks it. Good exchange - Bishop coming out on top. Bishop uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tamburello.
A jab from Tamburello misses. Bishop misses with a straight right. Bishop lunges at Tamburello with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tamburello's hand. Bishop uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tamburello. Bishop keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bishop bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Tamburello is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Bishop tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Tamburello is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Sloppy strikes there by Bishop. Tamburello takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Tamburello defending against the ground and pound. The ground and pound from Bishop seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Bishop lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Bishop has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bishop throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Tamburello avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Bishop. Bishop connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Tamburello some visible discomfort.
Bishop scores with a couple of short elbows. Bishop throwing strikes but Tamburello manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Tamburello in the domination position with Bishop hanging on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bishop dodges the ground and pound from Tamburello. Tamburello throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Bishop works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Bishop tries to roll over but Tamburello keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bishop works his way to full guard. Good work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tamburello accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bishop pulls Tamburello in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bishop is in the full mount, landing strikes. Tamburello tries to lock up and control but Bishop gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Tamburello is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bishop lands a nice shot to the head. Bishop looking to ground and pound but Tamburello is blocking nicely. Bishop with a couple of short strikes. Bishop landing strikes, looking to finish! Tamburello on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tamburello tries to get out of the position. Bishop is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bishop throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Bishop lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Bishop postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tamburello looks a forlorn figure.
Tamburello is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bishop connects with a bit shot that sees Tamburello covering up! More strikes from Bishop and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Bishop is our winner by TKO!
