The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dos Santos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dos Santos controls James momentarily but James frees himself.
James tries to stand but Dos Santos is controlling from the bottom.
James won't allow Dos Santos to sweep him here.
James working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dos Santos wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
James must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Dos Santos doesn't succeed with the takedown
and James counters with a takedown into side control.

James is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Dos Santos is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
