Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Louden Swain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Opa Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jokinen has chosen Prodigy - Baby's Got A Temper as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Louden Swain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Opa Jokinen! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swain will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Swain ducks under a wild hook from Jokinen. Jokinen fails to land with a series of punches.
Jokinen loads up on a big right hand but Swain slips the punch. Swain misses the jab. Swain changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jokinen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Swain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jokinen keeps working. Jokinen prevents Swain from moving into mount. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Swain sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jokinen is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Jokinen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jokinen is looking for a sweep. Swain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jokinen keeps working. Jokinen regains half guard. Jokinen trying to control but Swain postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jokinen lands an overhand right. Jokinen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Swain circles away quickly and effectively. Swain gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Swain connects with a nice short shot to Jokinen's temple. Well, if Swain is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swain wants to free his trapped foot but Jokinen is holding on for dear life with his legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jokinen slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Swain passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Swain trying to control the position but Jokinen is working away. Jokinen stops Swain from passing to mount. Swain trying to control the action but Jokinen is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jokinen throws a right and a left that both miss. Swain dodges the punch combination from Jokinen.
Jokinen throws a nice looking combination but Swain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jokinen moves out of range as Swain strikes. Jokinen throws a right and a left that Swain avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Swain scores with a sloppy right hand. Jokinen should have avoided that one. Opa Jokinen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A jab lands there for Jokinen. Swain fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jokinen avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jokinen shoots in for a takedown but Swain shows good takedown defense. Swain looks to throw the jab but Jokinen is out of range. Swain misses with a body shot.
Opa Jokinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Swain lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jokinen moves out of range as Swain strikes. Jokinen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Swain. Jokinen scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jokinen throws a looping overhand right but Swain ducks down to avoid it. Swain avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jokinen moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Jokinen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Swain. Swain throws a big shot that misses. Jokinen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Jokinen misses with a few strikes there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jokinen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Swain lands a jab to the nose. Swain throws a jab when Jokinen was well out of range. Jokinen throws a jab but it's blocked by Swain. Jokinen loads up on a big right hand but Swain slips the punch. Swain throws a big shot that misses. Jokinen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Swain uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jokinen. Swain paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jokinen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Swain. Swain misses with an uppercut. Swain throws the left hand but Jokinen avoids the punch easily. Jokinen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jokinen wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Louden Swain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jokinen throws a right and a left that Swain avoids nicely. Swain slips a jab from Jokinen. Jokinen throws a nice looking combination but Swain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Swain showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jokinen.
Jokinen misses with a hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Opa Jokinen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
A swing and a miss from Jokinen. Swain missing with a left hand there. Jokinen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jokinen slips under a jab from Swain. Swain misses with a wild body shot. Swain slips a jab from Jokinen. Swain fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jokinen sprawls well initially but Swain persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jokinen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Swain's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Swain's back! Jokinen somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Jokinen lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Jokinen is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Swain. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jokinen looking for the RNC. Swain is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Jokinen 's hooks. Swain is working to get back to half guard.
Jokinen sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Swain is desperately trying to improve his position but Jokinen has a good base and remains in mount. Jokinen scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jokinen tries to control but Swain wriggling away. Jokinen looking for a guillotine from mount but Swain is having none of it. Swain wants to control but Jokinen is having none of it. Swain is in a horrible position here. Jokinen smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jokinen moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Swain has worked his arm free - good work by Swain!
Jokinen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Swain is trying to get back to half guard. Swain is trying to control Jokinen's posture but Jokinen avoids it. Swain takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

And that's the end of the fight! Opa Jokinen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jokinen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
