Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gar Diu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Hawla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diu's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Song of Manliness. Hawla comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ten Thousand Fists kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diu closes the distance and clinches up with Hawla, looking for a takedown. Diu pushes Hawla against the cage but Hawla circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Diu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hawla misses with a wild combination.
Diu dives in and grabs Hawla's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hawla pushes down on Diu's head and hops out.
Diu throws a body kick that misses.
Gar Diu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Diu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hawla paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Diu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Diu in particular looking to stall.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Diu has control of Hawla's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hawla regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Diu is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hawla is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Diu is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Diu has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
