Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
henry moves into the clinch successfully.
ahr looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
henry breaks the clinch.
henry closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - henry lands in his opponent's guard.
henry in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
henry wants to pass the guard but ahr is keeping the position.
henry is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

henry is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

henry shoots for a double leg takedown but ahr sprawls well. He's pushed henry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

ahr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but henry moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
ahr closes the distance looking to clinch
and henry counters with a shoot takedown. ahr fights it but they end up in guard.
henry won't allow ahr to get back to his feet.
ahr is trying to control the position but henry postures up.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

henry tries to land a sweep but no joy.
henry has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
henry is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and ahr defends well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
ahr trying to control the position from guard on top but henry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
henry scrambles and gets back to his feet.
ahr misses with a hook.
henry has taken the fight to the clinch.
henry's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
henry shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. henry showed some decent athleticism there.

mikey henry overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
henry is looking to take a break and control but ahr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
henry uses his free foot to push down on ahr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for ahr.
henry prevents ahr from getting the reversal.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
henry is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in ahr's half guard.
henry drops an elbow to the side of ahr's head.

henry seems to be looking for submissions.
ahr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. henry is working away from the top position though.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
ahr might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control henry kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

henry is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee stands the fighters back up. mikey henry just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

ahr wants to control but henry is keeping busy and won't allow it.

henry is trying to control. ahr wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
henry is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
henry perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

henry is trying to control the action in half guard but ahr is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
henry decides to return to a standing position.

and henry counters with a nice double leg into guard.

ahr looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but henry puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
henry is stalling here. ahr is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! henry seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and ahr has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
ahr decides to stand back up.
henry could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
henry circles away from the clinch attempt.
ahr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
henry shoots in looking for a takedown. ahr tries to sprawl out of it but henry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. ahr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for henry, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
