Ikeda stalks Mendez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mendez's face. Mendez staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Edward Mendez has been cut.
Edward Mendez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mendez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
