Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hello Chippy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antsa Sireeni! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sireeni misses with a wild body shot. Sireeni gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Chippy to score an easy takedown into full guard. Chippy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Sireeni is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chippy is controlling him. Chippy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sireeni is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sireeni has escaped and now he's on top! Sireeni would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Sireeni should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Chippy looking for a guillotine here but Sireeni defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chippy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sireeni gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sireeni trying to stand up but can't free himself from Chippy's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chippy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Chippy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sireeni defends well.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Sireeni gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sireeni swings for the body but Chippy moves out of range.
Sireeni throws a big shot that misses. Excellent takedown into side control there by Chippy. Chippy is breathing heavily. Chippy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chippy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sireeni is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Chippy tries for a kimura but Sireeni is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sireeni is pushing Chippy's head away, looking to escape. Chippy manages to hold on to the position though. Sireeni bucks up and tries to throw Chippy off but instead Chippy has got his back! Sireeni holding both Chippy 's hands and preventing any damage. Chippy looking to break Sireeni's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Sireeni remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Chippy will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hello Chippy dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
No joy there for Sireeni, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Chippy looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sireeni tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chippy looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Chippy is working for a guillotine from mount but Sireeni frees his head quite easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sireeni is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Chippy has taken his back! Chippy is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Sireeni knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Sireeni for a finish. Sireeni trying to get back to his feet but Chippy is in full control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chippy has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Sireeni has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Chippy is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Sireeni has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Sireeni looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.

Sireeni refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Sireeni's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
