1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Nigel Winters! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winters cracks Carlton with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Winters misses with a few strikes there.
Winters throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Carlton dodges the punch combination from Winters.

Winters throws a right hand that Carlton ducks under and follows up with a left that Carlton also avoids with ease. Winters misses with a few strikes there.
Winters throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Carlton. Winters looks gassed! Carlton shoots for a double leg takedown but Winters sprawls well. He's pushed Carlton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carlton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Carlton fails to move to back control. Carlton looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Winters is looking to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Carlton wants to finish this one by submission but Winters is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Carlton. Winters is trying to stand up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Carlton is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Winters can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Carlton knows he should have avoided that one. dMarcus Carlton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Winters lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Carlton backs up against the cage.
Winters tries to bum rush Carlton with a series of wild strikes but Carlton uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Winters lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Carlton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Winters avoids it really well and circles away. Winters tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carlton swats him away and circles back towards the center. Carlton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Winters.
Carlton looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Winters wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Carlton manages to pass to side control. Carlton wants to take a breather but Winters is having none of it.

Carlton is pressing down on Winters's thigh, looking to free his foot. Winters is holding on for now. Winters is refusing to be controlled, as Carlton sits in half guard. Nigel Winters showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Carlton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
