Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carl The Crusher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuli Kuivanen! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Crusher looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The Crusher moves out of range of the strikes. Kuivanen tries to keep at a distance but The Crusher has taken the fight into the clinch. The Crusher manages to break the clinch.
The Crusher cracks a nice hook into Kuivanen's ribs. The Crusher moves into the clinch. Kuivanen manages to break the clinch.
The Crusher connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kuivanen momentarily.
Kuivanen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kuivanen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. The Crusher scores with a three punch combo!
The Crusher moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Crusher lands a body shot.
The Crusher doesn't manage to clinch there - Kuivanen circles away.
The Crusher digs a good hook to Kuivanen's body.
The Crusher is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Kuivanen looks gassed! Nice uppercut there from The Crusher. The Crusher darts in and out, connecting with a jab. The Crusher takes the fight into the clinch. The Crusher's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kuivanen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The Crusher throws a right hand that Kuivanen ducks under and follows up with a left that Kuivanen also avoids with ease. The Crusher has closed the distance and engaged Kuivanen in a clinch.
Kuivanen takes a shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in the clinch, The Crusher scores with a nice short uppercut. The Crusher has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. The Crusher pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The Crusher ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The Crusher jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The Crusher closes the distance and pushes Kuivanen back into the cage. The Crusher's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The Crusher lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kuivanen falls off balance throwing a combination
and The Crusher counters with a one-two to the body.
Kuivanen is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The Crusher lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Kuivanen is still on wobbly legs! Can The Crusher finish him? The Crusher scores with a shot to the body.
A nice combination there by The Crusher.
The Crusher fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Kuivanen to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Kuivanen looks to clinch but The Crusher throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Kuivanen taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
