Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spencer Nakumura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pain comes to the cage accompanied by Indestructible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Pain!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Spencer Nakumura!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nakumura manages to avoid it.
Nakumura keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nakumura throws a hook but Pain blocks it.
Pain lunges at Nakumura with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nakumura's hand.
Nakumura throws an overhand right that lands on Pain's shoulder, as Pain tries to avoid the shot.
Nakumura is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nakumura gets the takedown into side control.
Nakumura thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Nakumura tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Pain tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nakumura wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
An elbow from Nakumura crashes against the mat.
Pain is trying to control Nakumura's posture but Nakumura avoids it.
Pain is trying to get back to half guard.

Nakumura is trying to get an arm triangle but Pain is defending well.
Nakumura tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pain lands the left hand.
Pain gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nakumura to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Pain is adopting a defensive guard.

Nakumura postures up.
Pain is trying to hold Nakumura in close to prevent damage but Nakumura has managed to pass into half guard.
Pain has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nakumura is working away from the top position though.
Pain keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Pain slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Pain working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Nakumura.
Nakumura tries to free his leg and advance position but Pain is retaining full guard.
Nakumura looks gassed!
Pain is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pain has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Pain wants to sweep here but Nakumura controlling him for the moment.

Pain has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nakumura is working away from the top position though.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Max Pain just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Nakumura avoids a punch combination nicely.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nakumura misses with a few strikes there.
Pain uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nakumura has time to react.

Pain thuds a left hand into Nakumura's body.
Pain drops Nakumura with a left right combo! Pain follows him down to the ground into side control.
Nakumura is rocked!
It looks like Spencer Nakumura has been cut.
Pain is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Nakumura looks calm but he's in trouble here. Pain gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Nakumura is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Pain lets go of the hold and Nakumura can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Max Pain!
