Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ric Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Taksin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiger comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ric Tiger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eddy Taksin! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tiger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Taksin as he jumps to the side. Tiger instigates a clinch. Taksin connects with a knee to the head.
Tiger gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Taksin regains guard.
Tiger prevents Taksin from getting back to his feet. Tiger is looking to stand up but Taksin won't let him. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tiger accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Taksin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tiger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Taksin wants to stand but Tiger is controlling the position. Tiger is looking to stand up but Taksin won't let him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tiger stands up and waves to Taksin to follow him. Taksin just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taksin clinches but Tiger breaks the clinch and Tiger counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Taksin is trying to stand back up but Tiger is controlling him

Taksin makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Taksin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Taksin tries a head kick but it misses.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Tiger is trying to break the clinch but Taksin has him pressed against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taksin tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tiger avoids it. Taksin tries to land knees in the clinch but Tiger avoids the damage to the body. Tiger looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Tiger changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Taksin fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Eddy Taksin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Taksin throws a body kick the misses and Tiger counters with a single leg into guard. Taksin didn't expect that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tiger wants to control from the top but Taksin keeps moving. Tiger makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tiger in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tiger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Taksin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tiger won't allow Taksin to get back to his feet. Tiger would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Tiger might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taksin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Tiger gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Tiger circles away from the clinch attempt and Tiger counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Taksin's guard now. Tiger has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tiger prevents Taksin from getting back to his feet. Tiger stands up from Taksin's guard - Tiger perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tiger looks to clinch and Taksin counters by moving into the clinch. Tiger wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ric Tiger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tiger pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Taksin clinches. Taksin throws a knee to the head but misses.

Taksin looks gassed! Taksin is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Taksin tries to clinch but fails miserably and Tiger counters with a nice leg kick. Taksin wants to clinch but Tiger slips to the side and Tiger counters with a nice double leg into side control. Taksin won't be happy with that. Tiger stands up. Good standup being displayed there by Taksin as he connects with a hook. Taksin darts in trying to clinch and Tiger counters with a shoot takedown. Taksin fights it but they end up in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tiger gets to his feet - Taksin follows without any prompting. Taksin throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Tiger counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Taksin is trying to stand back up but Tiger is controlling him
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Tiger seems content to control. Tiger stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Taksin to get to his feet. Taksin scores with a head kick.

Taksin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Taksin throws a head kick that misses and Tiger counters with a nice double leg into side control. Taksin won't be happy with that. Ric Tiger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Taksin is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Tiger wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Taksin, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taksin is trying to buck Tiger off. Taksin is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Taksin dodges the ground and pound from Tiger.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tiger sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Taksin is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Taksin misses with a double jab.

Taksin closes the distance looking to clinch and Tiger counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Taksin's guard now. Taksin is working an open guard so Tiger takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big right from Taksin misses. Taksin throws a series of punches but Tiger avoids them all with ease. Tiger connects with a solid leg kick. Taksin wants to clinch so Tiger counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tiger with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Tiger is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Taksin can do to turn this around? Tiger gets to his feet - Taksin follows without any prompting. Tiger misses with a takedown attempt - Taksin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Taksin connects with a high kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tiger cracks the inside of Taksin's front leg. Taksin thows a body kick. Tiger tries to catch it but that hurt him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Tiger's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Taksin walks away with a smile on his face. Tiger gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Taksin tries to clinch but fails miserably and Tiger counters with a thumping low kick. Tiger dodges the punch combination from Taksin.
Tiger scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Taksin tries to clinch but Tiger moves away and Tiger counters into the clinch. Nicely done. And that's the end of the fight! Ric Tiger showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tiger, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
