Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaw Breaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Spackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan Spackman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dan Spackman!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spackman tries to close the distance and clinch but Breaker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Breaker shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Spackman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Breaker working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Spackman takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Spackman is pushing Breaker's head away, looking to escape. Breaker manages to hold on to the position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Breaker lands a few punches from side control.
Breaker throws an elbow but Spackman slips to the side and avoids it well.

Breaker throws a strike aimed at the side of Spackman's head but Spackman avoids it well.
Breaker controls the position from side control.
Spackman avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Breaker.
Spackman is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Breaker misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Spackman is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Breaker is controlling him well.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Spackman tries to clinch but Breaker moves out of range.

Breaker closes the distance and pushes Spackman back into the cage.
Spackman prevents the takedown attempt.
Spackman misses with a knee strike.

Breaker wants a takedown.
Spackman is pressed up against the cage. Breaker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Spackman down to the mat. Spackman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaw Breaker. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Breaker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Spackman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Spackman is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Breaker can't get the takedown.
Breaker is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Spackman pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Breaker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Spackman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Spackman misses with a knee strike.
Spackman using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Breaker has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Breaker drops down looking for an ankle pick but Spackman pulls his leg out and moves away.
Breaker lands a slapping body shot.
Breaker connects with a nice looking jab.

Breaker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Breaker advances position into side control!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Breaker landing strikes.


It looks like Dan Spackman has been cut.
An elbow from Breaker crashes against the mat.

Breaker lands a nice forearm strike.

Breaker is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Spackman will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Breaker creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Breaker takes a little break here. Spackman wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Spackman takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Breaker connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Spackman some visible discomfort.


That has opened up Dan Spackman's cut even more.
Breaker landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.


Dan Spackman's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dan Spackman's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jaw Breaker!
