Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Arshavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arshavin comes to the cage accompanied by The Arsenal Mastermind. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrei Arshavin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Reed! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reed just misses with a punch to the body.
Reed ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Arshavin moves away. Reed closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Reed is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Arshavin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Reed. Arshavin tries to get to full guard but Reed has control of the leg. Reed is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Arshavin defends it well. Arshavin wants to improve his position but Reed is controlling well.
Arshavin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Arshavin wants to control but Reed is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reed moves nicely into side control. Reed landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
It looks like Andrei Arshavin has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arshavin tries to buck Reed off but Reed is having none of it. Reed is trying to get an arm triangle but Arshavin is defending well. Arshavin is looking for a sweep. Arshavin misses with an elbow from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Arshavin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Reed connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Arshavin some visible discomfort.
Reed tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Reed is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Arshavin is trying to escape and Reed transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Arshavin is forced to tap! Nice work there by Reed! Very nice indeed!
