Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Molar Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferguson has chosen Breaking Benjamin singing "You Fight Me" live for the crowd tonight!!!! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear shoots in for a takedown but Ferguson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Molar Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ferguson misses with a looping left.
Ferguson looks to throw the jab but Bear is out of range.
Bear throws a head kick that misses.
Ferguson moves away from the strike by Bear.
No luck for Bear with that takedown attempt.
Bear shoots in for a double leg but Ferguson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bear.

Ferguson steps into range and cracks Bear with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Bear flops backwards and Ferguson dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Molar Bear has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ferguson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Bear wants to stand up but Ferguson is controlling him.
Ferguson is pushing down on Bear's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bear is fighting to maintain full guard but Ferguson has managed to sneak the leg through.
Ferguson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bear knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Bear is controlling an arm, preventing Ferguson from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Ferguson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Ferguson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Despite being in the dominant position, Kevin Ferguson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bear. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The fighters circling - Ferguson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bear walks straight into a right hand from Ferguson - that's dropped him! Ferguson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bear from any more punishment! Bear complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
