Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Z Pryde Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escobar's entrance music is Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N' Roses. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Simmons's choice of entrance music: Grandmas house. Z Pryde Simmons has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Escobar not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Simmons is trying to stand up here but Escobar is controlling him well.
Escobar seems to be looking for submissions.
Simmons has a hand on Escobar's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Escobar takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Escobar has hold of Simmons's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Simmons manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Escobar wants to finish this one by submission but Simmons is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Escobar.

Simmons is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Escobar locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Simmons is forced to tap!
