Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Frank Anderson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Frank Anderson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henry Fisher!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson slaps away a takedown attempt from Fisher, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fisher tries to clinch but Anderson moves out of range.
Fisher has a takedown stuffed.

Anderson moves into the clinch successfully.
Anderson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fisher gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Fisher gets underhooks to prevent Anderson's takedown attempt.
Fisher is working for takedown but Anderson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Frank Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Fisher.
Anderson wants a takedown but no success here.

Anderson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Fisher thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Anderson is looking for a sweep. Fisher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Anderson lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
Fisher is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Anderson wants to improve his position but Fisher is controlling well.
Anderson is working hard here to advance position.
Anderson won't allow Fisher to pass to mount.

Anderson is not content to let Fisher control the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Fisher will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Anderson closes the distance and pushes Fisher back into the cage.

Fisher drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Anderson has picked Fisher up - he's going for a ride! Anderson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fisher is refusing to be controlled, as Anderson sits in half guard.
Anderson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fisher is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anderson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Anderson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fisher pulls his leg out and moves away.

Anderson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Anderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Anderson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anderson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fisher with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Anderson is pressing down on Fisher's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fisher is holding on for now.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Anderson connects with a nice short shot to Fisher's temple.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank Anderson.
Well Anderson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
