PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reece Edward Duenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Stones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duenas comes to the cage accompanied by California Gurls. Stones has chosen T2 Theme by Austrian Death Machine as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Reece Edward Duenas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Damien Stones!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duenas misses the shot to the body.

Duenas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Duenas wants to pass the guard but Stones is keeping the position.

Stones controls Duenas momentarily but Duenas frees himself.

Duenas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stones manages to avoid it.

Stones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stones wants it to stay on the feet.

Stones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Duenas.

Damien Stones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duenas takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Duenas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stones walks away with a smile on his face. Duenas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Damien Stones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
