Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilde slips a jab and a cross from Howard.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wilde.
Howard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wilde manages to avoid it.
Howard displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wilde.
Howard misses with a straight left.
Wilde shoots in looking for a takedown. Howard tries to sprawl out of it but Wilde keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Howard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Wilde. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wilde drops back looking for a leg! Howard is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Howard manages to kick Wilde off! Wilde jumps back into Howard's guard.
Wilde drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wilde jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Howard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Howard. Wilde does a little dance to reset his feet.

Howard swings for the body but Wilde moves out of range.
Howard throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Howard swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That was a close round but I would say that Will Wilde will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Howard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wilde circles away quickly and effectively.
Wilde closes the distance and clinches up with Howard, looking for a takedown. Wilde pushes Howard against the cage but Howard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wilde shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Howard as he avoids it easily.
Wilde shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Howard pinned against the cage. Howard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Howard lands a left and a right that send Wilde crashing to the mat, dazed. Howard thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

George Howard is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wilde slips a nice elbow through Howard's hands, connecting with Howard's forehead.

Wilde has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Howard is staying active underneath Wilde, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Howard is looking to get back to is feet but Wilde passes into side control.
Wilde prevents Howard from escaping the position.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Wilde is working to tighten is grip on Howard's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Howard has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wilde is really squeezing tight and eventually Howard passes out! Wilde breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
