Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tim Song (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Cicero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Song comes to the cage accompanied by I Want to be More by Paul Dateh. Cicero has chosen Woke Up This Morning as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim Song! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Cicero! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cicero leaves Song with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Cicero shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Song napping and manages to drive through into side control! Cicero working the ground and pound but Song is defending the strikes. Cicero trying to control the action but Song is working from the bottom. Song sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Song is holding on to half guard well. Song slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Cicero postures up in Song's guard and throws a big left but Song blocks it. Song is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Song managing to control the position. Song throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Song is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Cicero is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Cicero looking to sit in guard and control but Song gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Song got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cicero has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Song has managed to get both his arms back between Cicero's legs - danger averted. Song scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Song throws a strike but Cicero rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Cicero wants to control from the top but Song keeps moving. Song looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cicero is one step ahead there. Song is trying to control the position but Cicero postures up. Song keeping moving, preventing Cicero from controlling successfully. Cicero is looking to work some ground and pound but Song has wrist control. Cicero trying to control but Song is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cicero slips a straight right by Song. Cicero lands a jab to the nose. Song throws out a loose jab but Cicero uses good head movement to avoid it. Cicero fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Song misses with a takedown attempt and Cicero counters with a right hand to the body. Song has his takedown stuffed and Cicero cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Song. That's going to take a lot out of him. Song is breathing heavily. Cicero slips a jab from Song. Song throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cicero counters with a nice body shot. Cicero displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Song throws out the jab. Tim Song seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Song misses with a double jab.
Song on the wrong end of a nice jab. The fighters circle momentarily. Cicero darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Nice jab there from Cicero. Good shot there by Cicero. Cicero works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Song on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Song is rocked! Cicero lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Song - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Cicero!
